The Lake County Farm Bureau is seeking your help in seeing that E-85 fueling stations get opened in Lake County.  At the present time, the closest stations that offer E-85 as a fueling option are located in McHenry and Palatine. 

Please take a minute to complete the form below.  Your request will be forwarded to gas stations, petroleum dealers and legislators in Lake County.

 

I ____________________________ am disappointed to see that there are no E-85 stations located in Lake County, Illinois.  As you are aware, Lake County has over 700,000 residents and thousands more people that pass through each day while commuting.  Lake County farmers produce over 18,000 acres of corn each year.  Increased ethanol use means more opportunities for farmers in Lake County to market their corn. 

As a taxpayer who is concerned about the high gas prices, supporting Lake County farmers, and our environment, I STRONGLY URGE Lake County elected officials, petroleum suppliers, and gas stations to bring E-85 pumps to Lake County.
