Teacher Grants

The Lake County Farm Bureau Ag In the Classroom Program is offering grants of up to $250 to K-12 teachers across the county to fund projects promoting agricultural literacy in the classroom.

To apply for the project funding, please complete this form and outline the project, its goals, and the desired outcomes. Projects may be, but are not limited to, units culminating in a field trip, classroom presentations, or career fairs. Be creative and develop an interesting, valuable agricultural experience for your students. The application must arrive at the Lake County Farm Bureau, 70 US Highway 45. Grayslake, IL 60030 by 4:00 pm on November 18, 2006. No faxed copies will be accepted. Those selected for funding will be notified by December 16, 2006 and will receive an agreement to be signed and returned. A final report, accounting and project evaluation will be due to the Lake County Farm Bureau by May 19, 2007.
