Farm Bureau Golf Outing

The Lake County Farm Bureau invites you to join us for our annual golf outing and raffle.  The ANTIOCH GOLF CLUB will be hosting this annual event once again this year. The outing is scheduled to take place on Thursday June 17^th, and will begin with an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start.  Antioch Golf Club requires all golfers to wear proper golf attire (no tank tops or cutoffs), and everyone must use a cart, walking is not permitted.

Once the day's golfing has concluded, everyone in attendance will enjoy a cookout in an air-conditioned tent.  After dinner, a large raffle will take place for a number of various prizes.  All donations made to the raffle will be donated to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.  Farm Bureau will once again be match all contributions made toward the raffle.  Last year the event raised more than $4,000 for the breast cancer research, and our goal is to exceed that amount this year.

Additional events include Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin contests for both men and women.

Cost for participating in the event is $35 per member and $55 for non-members.  This will cover the cost of green fees, cart and dinner.  Raffle tickets will be sold the day of the outing.  In addition, for all of those who are not going to be golfing this year, but would still like to join us for dinner and the raffle, dinner-only tickets can be purchased for $15 a piece.

The Farm Bureau is also looking for local businesses to offer goods and services as raffle prizes.  In addition to offering raffle prizes, sponsorship opportunities are also available as well.  All sponsors of the event are recognized at the event, and all funds raised go to a great cause.  If you have any questions about sponsorship opportunities, or would like to donate a raffle prize to this noble fundraiser, please contact Executive Assistant Donna Freitag at 847-223-6506, or by email at dfreitag@ameritech.net.
